2. Acceptance of Terms

Use of the Gymnasos platform (the "Service") is subject to these Terms of Use. By registering, signing in, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms.

3. Subscription, auto-renewal and cancellation

The subscription is a continuing transaction and renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.

You may cancel at any time, without giving a reason and without speaking to anyone, through the cancellation page, by email, or by phone using the details in section 1. Cancellation takes effect within three business days of your notice (six if sent by registered mail), and you will not be charged for any period after that. We will send written confirmation.

There is no cancellation fee. Where a handling fee is permitted by law it will not exceed 5% of the transaction price or ILS 100, whichever is lower. Nothing in these terms derogates from rights that cannot be contracted out of under Israel's Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981 and its regulations; where these terms conflict with those rights, the law prevails.

4. Software Provided "As Is"

The Service is provided "as is" and as available, without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, free from vulnerabilities, or available at all times. We do not warrant that any feature or capability will always be available.

5. Limitation of Liability & No Responsibility for Data Loss

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gymnasos and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages — including lost profits, loss of reputation, loss of data, information, customers, or content that is deleted, corrupted, or lost for any reason, whether caused by technical failure, user error, force majeure, or any other cause.

You are solely responsible for backing up and preserving critical data. We strongly recommend regularly backing up your customers, programs, orders, and any important documents.

6. User Responsibility

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure, maintaining accurate and up-to-date information, and ensuring that your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws and regulations, including privacy laws and patient/client consent requirements.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Please review this page periodically.

8. Third-Party Data Sources & Nutrition

Food search and barcode lookup in the nutrition module rely on external databases. Product data is provided in part by © Open Food Facts contributors and is made available under the ODbL 1.0 licence.

Nutrition values are informational only, may be inaccurate or out of date, and do not constitute medical or dietary advice. For allergies, medical conditions, or specific dietary needs, rely on the product label and consult a dietitian or physician.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts of the Tel Aviv District have exclusive jurisdiction. This does not remove any right you may have under the law applicable to you to bring proceedings in your own place of residence where that right cannot be contracted out of.
